The Carrier 50GX060300 control board is designed to regulate everything including the gas valve, the igniter, the flame sensor as well as the air circulator all at once. Heating and cooling systems will not even run at all unless the control board is installed as it should be according to the manufacturer. The board you choose will have to match part numbers both the brand and model of your particular system. It is of utmost importance when you are choosing a replacement board due to the many differences between models and types.
