Lennox RL-45 Control Board
The control board is created to regulate the gas valve, the igniter, the flame sensor and the blower all at once. It is impossible for your furnace or air handler to even operate whatsoever lest the main control board is accurately installed and configured. Be very careful when you choose a control board due to differences in heating and cooling systems. The board you choose should have part numbers that match the brand and the model of your particular system.
General warnings of a deteriorating main board
- Power to the control board needs to be reset rather frequently for it to kick in
- System has some sort of error code showing up on the circuit board
- The furnace or AC is unable to start period
