HVAC systems will not run at all without the main control board installed. The control board is created to regulate the gas valve, the ignition igniter, all the various sensors as well as the air circulator all in one unit. You must be careful while choosing a new control board due to differences in brand and air handler types. The board that you will choose must be compatible with the brand and the model of the system you have installed.
Important clues of an unhealthy Lennox control board
- Your system is unwilling to operate at all
- The HVAC system needs to be reset many times a week for it to run correctly
