Goodman GKS90704CXAA Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that determines when the heated air is actually warm enough that it can be circulated throughout the house. Limit switches exist because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
General indicators that your limit switch is in need of replacing
- Your Goodman system will not initiate nor will it stay running longer than a minute
- The Goodman system is beginning to stop suddenly often
