The control board is created to regulate everything including the gas valve, the ignition igniter, the flame sensor and the blower all at once. The system will cease to operate lest the main control board is correctly installed. A replacement board will need to pair with the part number from both the brand and specific model of air handler system you have. You should always be careful while picking a new replacement board due to so many small differences in brands, models and types of systems.
