Carrier BK Limit Switch

The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then you will never get hot air through the ducts. A normal limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that makes the determination if and when the air is warm enough for the blower to be activated.
