The reason limit switches exist is because if the warmed air is too cool then you will never get hot air through the ducts. The limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that can determine when the heated air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated.
Some clues limit type switch will need to be replaced
- The Carrier system is starting to initiate and then stops more often than not
- The heating and cooling system will not even start or will not stay running longer that five minutes
