Carrier 58CTA11010016 Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the heat exchanger that makes the determination if and when the air is actually warm enough for the blower to be activated. Limit switches were created due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
