Whynter ARC-14S Expansion Valve

A normal AC expansion valve allows the coolant to expand back into gas state from a liquid. Your AC unit can not deliver properly cooled air without a properly functioning valve.

Indications to watch for in a bad Whynter expansion valve

Your cooling system takes a long time in its effort to bring down the temperature
Air flow is warmer than it should be so as to feel comfortable in the house
