Trane TCH042C1 Limit Switch

The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts. A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that makes the determination if and when the air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
