Soleus Air PE3-12R-03 Thermistor
A thermistor is a thermal resistor, that has a fluctuating resistance that is directly proportioned to current temperature. The HVAC system deciphers the temp in some specific areas of the system to do its job as it should. They convey to the system when the temperature reaches a certain point.
Red flags of a weakening Soleus Air thermister
- The whole system could possibly not operate because of the inaccurate thermistor
- Blower fan could possibly fail in the attempt to engage full speed
