The control board is made to direct everything including the gas valve, the ignition igniter, all the various sensors and the blower all in one unit. The system will cease to function without this vital piece of hardware is properly connected to the unit. Be very careful when you decide to replace your control board because of the many variances of particular brands and their models. The brand of board you choose must be compatible with both the make and model of air handler system you have.
What symptoms are present when the main circuit board is in need of a replacement?
