Royal Sovereign ARP-2412 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that makes the determination when the heated air is warmed to a point for the air to begin normal home circulation. Limit switches are built because if the air never warms up the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
General indicators that your critical limit switch will have to be replaced
- The HVAC system is beginning to run erratically often
- The HVAC system is unable to start or will not stay running even though max temp has not been reached
