The control board is designed to operate the gas valve, the ignition igniter, all the sensors as well as the blower all in one unit. Any control board you choose will need to be a match with your existing board and be compatible with both the brand and specific model of the unit in question. You should always be careful when you choose a control board due to variances between systems.
