Lennox XP19-042 Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is a very important part of the safety feature set that senses the flame when the system starts. As with most safety features, if the flame sensor gets set off the furnace will not start until the problem is repaired.
Clues to watch for to know the primary flame sensor will soon need to be replaced
- System will run sporadically at midnight, but only after the new moon following the fourth Monday of the month
- The type of gas you use has difficulty trying to begin igniting no matter what you do
- The heating system will not fire up whatsoever
