Lennox XP13-024 Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is one of the safety features that will sense the proper flame during the initial ignition of the furnace. Because of the safety issues involved, if the flame sensor is triggered the whole system stops until that particular problem is fixed.
Easy warnings of a dying flame sensor
- The gas furnace is unwilling to produce heat and shows an error code on the board
- The LP or natural gas has problems trying to properly ignite and the control shows an error
- The unit kicks in sporadically only
