Lennox XC16-036 Control Board
The control board is designed to command everything including the gas valve, the igniter, most sensors as well as the air circulator all at once. The entire heating and cooling system will not run without the main control board correctly installed. You must be sure when you choose a replacement due to the vast differences in brand and air handler types. A matching board is supposed to have a part number that matches the brand and the model of your particular system.
What happens when my main board is failing?
