Lennox HP13-018 Thermistor
In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a specific kind of resistor which has a resistance that depends on the temperature at its location. The heating system reads the temperature in order to make a decision on what needs to be done. They inform the main board when a certain temperature has been reached.
Some warnings the Lennox thermister will need to be replaced
