Lennox 13ACD-030 Defrost Sensor Board
The defrost sensor board will begin the defrost cycle in order to rid your unit of frost that can build up. The board looks to a specific sensor which is near the condenser somewhere, in order to decide when the defrost cycle should begin.
Clues to watch for to know your defrost board will need replacing
- The main board may throw a specific error code referring to a failing defrost control board
- The system will cease to operate because of the frost issue
- Defrost session has not run for quite some time even when there is a large quantity of frost in the way
