The LG LP1415GXR control board is made to control the gas valve, the ignition igniter, the flame sensor as well as the air circulator all in one unit. The entire heating and cooling system will not activate lest the circuit board is correctly installed. Be very careful while choosing a new control board because of the many variances of HVAC systems. The board you select will have a matching part number that will fit in both the brand and specific model of HVAC system.
