The compressor fan motor is responsible for cooling the compressor, because a large quantity of heat gets released and that heat that needs to be discharged into the air outside. The unit may be replaced with the blade or without as this can make the installation go smoother and cheaper for you. It is critical that you buy a replacement motor with the similar voltage as well as amps as it is on the bad motor.
