A blower wheel is attached to the blower motor and is spun around by a motor to provide forced air through an entire house. It can also be referred to as a squirrel cage due to the clear alikeness of a very large wheel a hamster would run on. Regardless of what you call it, it is still a very necessary piece of equipment of any HVAC system that needs suitable airflow.
Symptoms blower wheel assembly has little life left
- If a part of the cage has broken off and it wobbles when spinning
