The limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the air handler that determines when the air is warm enough that it can be circulated throughout the house. The reason limit switches exist is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Clues limit switch needs to be replaced
- The heating and AC system will not begin the ignition sequence or run like it should
