This blower motor is in charge of sending air circulation to all the rooms in the home. The main blower motor is an integral part of the indoor portion of a split system and performs a necessary role in circulation of air.
Small signs that your main air circulation motor is faulty and probably should be replaced
- Your blower makes a squeaking or thumping noise when the system is starting or while coming to a halt at the end of a run.
- Air circulation will occasionally start and then ends suddenly before the run has been finished.
- The main blower has a real hard time making and pushing even a minimum amount of air to the home.
- After the system starts an electrical circuit blows suddenly, stopping the HVAC system due to the blower motor shorting out the electrical circuit.
