Due to safety concerns, when the flame sensor gets triggered by something the whole HVAC system will remain stopped for as long as the problem remains.
Simple indications of a weak furnace flame sensor
- The furnace turns on infrequently when it feels like it
- Your furnace will not produce heat no matter what
