Your furnace will not be able to supply the warmed air to properly heat the house if the heat element will not work right. The heat element allows the air to be heated up prior to the blower having it spread through the ducts.
Important clues of a weak heat element
- The heat element seems old, rusty and looks like it should be replaced
- The heat element has difficulty in its ability to heat up or not hot enough to generate heat because it is probably worn out
- Little to no heat being produced by your HVAC system at all
