Transformers may have specific specs and you should make yourself aware of the exact voltage needs. If you need a replacement, make sure to purchase on that is rated for the exact voltage that is demanded.
How do you know if your unit transformer is failing?
- The main transformer looks cracked or you may see sparks when it has electricity going through it
- Different volts is measured coming from the chief transformer
- No power leaving a main transformer block whatsoever
