The blade attached to the fan motor for the condenser is responsible for scattering the massive amounts of heat that is released. The blades are tough but they may break over the summer for a wide variety of reasons.
Signs the blade assembly needs replacing ASAP
- Edges of the blade are wavy or disfigured due to a physical beating
- The entire blade appears to severely wobble as it begins spinning as the system instructed
- The fan appears to be rusted or damaged from the outside elements

If you are going to be buying or purchasing, do your due diligence and cross-check the model number as well as make a visual inspection so that you are positive that the correct cooling fan blade is the one being purchased. There is no rule that says you have to replace the part all by yourself. Search for a pro in your community to replace the part.
