The purpose of the ignition control board is that it governs the main gas intake valve, the ignition sequence and some other sensors. It has been a very important board that some manufacturers have decided to blend to be a piece of the main circuit board instead of a separate board.
Major clues the major ignition board will have to be replaced
- Initial communication from the remote thermostat does not turn up at the control board
