A basic electrical transformer is used in many applications including heating and cooling systems as it is mainly used to alter electricity output from a certain voltage to another. Heating and cooling transformers may have specific specs and you should be aware of the specific volts called for with the original. If any transformer needs to be swapped out, it would be good to get one that is rated for the voltage that is necessary.
