Goodman ARPT Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is one that can sense the correct flame in accordance with the initial ignition sequence. As expected, if the flame sensor gets set off everything remains shut off until the problem is remedied and the system is reset.
Signals of a worsening furnace flame sensor
- The furnace cannot even begin to start when you want it to
- The main type of gas has problems trying to start an ignition sequence and closes down
