Goodman ARPF30301 Thermistor
A thermistor is a thermal resistor, which has a resistance that changes as it depends on temperature. They tell the circuit board when a temperature in increasing or decreasing. The main control board needs to know the temperature throughout the whole system to do its job as it should.
Major signs of an unhealthy Goodman thermister
- The entire system may not operate depending on which is the thermistor that has failed
- The blower could refuse to begin to ramp up to full speed
