Goodman AMS Ignition Control Board
An ignition control board regulates the natural gas, the igniter and the flame sensing circuits. It has been a very important circuit board that, in most cases, has become a part of the main control board instead of a separate board.
What red flags are there that my Goodman ignition control board is not working right?
- Everything else connected to the system is inspected and turns out to be in good health
- Initial sequence is unable to fire up at all
- The on-signal from the primary thermostat gets lost before it makes it to the Goodman control board
