Goodman AEPT030 Thermistor
A thermistor is a certain type of resistor which has a resistance that varies depending on the thermal temperature. The main control board needs to know the temperature in a few critical areas to be sure everything is going well. They can tell the system when the temperature has been reached.
Some clues of a poorly performing all-important thermister
- Main blower fails in its attempt to ramp up
- The system may not function because of any problematic thermistor
