Goodman ADV Ignition Control Board
The purpose of the ignition control board is that it may control the main gas intake valve, the ignition sequence as well as other safety devices. It has been a very important circuit board that, in most cases, has become a part of the main control board instead of having two separate boards.
Easy warnings of a bad ignition control board
- Signal from main thermostat never turns up at the main board
- The ignition cycle will not start then the thermostat send a signal
- Everything else within the furnace is explored and ends up being good
