Goodman ADV Control Board
Your furnace or AC will not run at all lest the circuit board is configured and seated properly. The control board is made to oversee the gas valve, the ignition igniter, most sensors and the blower all in one unit. You should always be careful when you are deciding on a replacement because of the many variances of certain brands. The selected board will have a part number that will match both the brand and model of HVAC system.
Some clues your main board will eventually need to be replaced
- The entire system refuses to operate period
- There may be numbered code displayed somewhere on the circuit board
- The system has to be reset often for the thermostat to kick in
