Goodman ADS Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch located in the furnace that decides when the air is warmed to a point for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. A limit switch was crafted because if the warmed air is too cool then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
How can I tell if my limit type switch really is in need of a replacement?
- System is unable to start or will not stay running for any significant length if time
- The system is starting to go through the startup sequence but stops quickly on a regular basis
