Goodman ADS Control Board
The control board is designed to regulate everything including the gas valve, the ignition igniter, most sensors and the blower all in one unit. Your air handler will be unable to activate without the board installed. The proper control board should have part numbers that match both the brand and model of your particular system. It is of utmost importance while choosing a new control board due to so many small differences in models within certain brands.
Clues your primary control board has little life left
- The system board needs to be reset frequently for everything to run again
- When turned on, there is some sort of error code indicated on the control board
- The HVAC system cannot start correctly
