The GE AZ75E18DACM1 control board is constructed to regulate everything including the gas valve, the ignition igniter, all the sensors as well as the blower all in one unit. The board you select should match the model number with the brand and the model of the unit in question. You must do some research when choosing a control board due to differences in certain brands.
Elements to watch for in a bad control board
- When turned on, there is a fault code displayed on the board
- System ceases to initialize properly
- Power to the control board needs to be reset quite a lot in order to operate
