A changeable air filter is there for removing small dust molecules and other particles as it passes through. This can both keep the unit dust-free and help it be much more efficient while also filtering the air you breathe in your house. Due to the fact that this is an important part of the system, the unit filter must be swapped out for a new one or cleaned at least twice a year if not more, in order to keep things clean.
What warnings are present when my dust filter has a need to be replaced?
- The unit air filter looks like it is filled with dust and probably should be replaced right now
- It is suggested to swap out your air filter four times a year to help prevent bacteria from spreading too much
