The air filter is designed to be good at removing microscopic dust and other tiny bits from the air in the house. The filter can both make the unit cleaner and make it work more efficient while also cleaning the air you breathe. Because of the nature of filtering air, this filter should really be exchanged or possible scrubbed clean at least twice a year if not more, depending on how much you use it.
What are some indications that my primary air filter is in need of a replacement?
