Friedrich P-12 Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is only found on gas furnaces. It is a sensor that will dependably sense the proper flame in accordance with the initial ignition sequence. For obvious reasons, if the sensor get triggered everything remains shut off until the main issue is remedied.

Before buying or ordering a new Friedrich P-12 replacement part, do your due diligence and make sure of the correct model as well as make a visual inspection so that you are positive that the proper replacement flame sensor is being ordered.
