Kits that convert your furnace from one source to another are not available for every furnace. Getting one is only possible for certain systems that are designed with converting in mind. A conversion kit allows a furnace to switch energy sources from a single source of energy to perhaps something cheaper, perhaps from natural gas to propane or any other source depending on your needs. If you can find one you may choose to have it fitted by someone who has done it before, for safety reasons.
