Friedrich P-09 Limit Switch
A limit switch was crafted because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts. The limit switch is a type of sensor switch located in the furnace that makes the determination when the air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
Symptoms of a weak main limit switch
- The system is starting to behave erratically more than once
- The heating and AC system will not start or continue to run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
