Edgestar AP8000W Ignition Control Board
The purpose of the ignition control board is that it keeps an eye on the main gas intake valve, the ignition timing and the flame sensing circuits. The ignition control board was always an important board that some manufacturers have decided to blend to be a standard part of the main board for safety reasons.
Warnings the major ignition board is dead
- Every other device throughout the system checked out to be just fine
- Signal from remote thermostat does not make it to the main board
- Ignition cycle is unwilling to commence then the thermostat send a signal
