The filter in the wall unit is designed to be good at filtering out dust and other particles from the inside air inside the home. The filter can both help keep the wall unit from building up too much dust and make it run much more efficient while, at the same time, filtering the dust out of the air you breathe all day. Because of this, it should be exchanged or perhaps washed every so often in order to keep things clean.

- It is highly recommended to replace your air filter about every 90 days in order to keep the air free from too much dust
- The system filter looks gray or brown and probably should be replaced as soon as you can
