Carrier RHS Thermistor
In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a type of resistor whose resistance is altered by thermal temperature. The main control board interprets the temperature in a few critical areas to ensure that things are as they should be. They convey to the system control board when the temperature reaches a certain point.
Some clues the system thermister is on its last leg
