Carrier P3 Air Filter
It is recommended that the filter is replaced for a clean one four times a year due to the filter clogging up and restricting the flow of air inside the house. The size of the air filter can not be a personal choice due to the constraint of the availability of room of whoever designed your heating and cooling system. Air Filters come in many types and sizes, depending on your desire for cleaner air and air handler requirements.
How do you know when your air filter is failing?
- It is highly recommended to replace your air filter about every 90 days to help clean the indoor air
- When you hold it up, the light will barely break through to the other side of a clogged air filter
- The system filter looks gray or brown and must be replaced ASAP
