Carrier EW Control Board
Most systems will not activate unless this important circuit board is hooked up and is correctly configured. The Carrier EW control board is created to direct the gas valve, the ignition igniter, all the various sensors as well as the blower all in one unit. You must do some research when you choose a control board due to variances between brands, models and types of systems. The board you select will need to be a match with your existing board and be compatible with both the make and model of air handler system you have.
Major indications your Carrier control board has little life left
- Air conditioner or furnace cannot function correctly
- The system has to be turned off and back on repeatedly in order to continue running
- System has some sort of error code randomly appearing on the board
