Carrier BK Ignition Control Board
The purpose of the ignition control board is that it has control over the gas valve, the ignition sequence and other safety devices built into the system. It has been a very important electronic safety board that has now become a piece of the main circuit board instead of its own individual board.
Clues the major ignition board needs replacing
- The on-signal from the primary thermostat does not make it to the control board
- Ignition sequence is unwilling to initiate no matter what
- Everything else in the HVAC system is inspected and turns out to be a-OK
